Dave and the Dynamos

Dave Luther założył grupę  Dave and the Dynamos po rozpadzie grupy Hogsnort Rupert,jako trio z Kevinem Findlaterem i Bernie Reberem.Wydali trzy single w tym ich najpopularniejszy "Life Begins At Forty" w 1983r,który został hitem numer 1 na nowozelandzkiej liście bestsellerów.
